Congrats!
I have my own personal reservations about PCS moving forward but I am so glad this turned out well and everyone is getting a nice statue! They really did deliver on this one.

Damn, so the whole AP thing is a bit of a con then by the sounds of it? Have people had trouble getting refunds from PCS in the past? Not too sure what to do regarding my order. I'm not sure I trust another statue being sent out only to possibly be damaged again. I'm also not sure if sideshow are expecting me to pay shipping to send the damaged one back to them. They specifically mentioned they would pay to have the statue sent back to them at their cost should I want a refund but didn't say this when concerning a replacement which I find odd. I've sent them an email with a few questions.

At this point the more viable option seems to be to just keep the damaged statue which is a bit crazy really.

Does the AP realy matter though? It would be nice if it were "special" but is it a dealbreaker? Imo no, they need some extras for replacements anyway so if they sell whatever replacements remain as AP's so be it the official ES is still 150 and its not like they will have 50 extras if even that much.

As for the replacement you will not have to pay shipping not for returning yours or recieving the replacement.
Small prediction => Sideshow will tell you to destroy yours and there wont even be a return shipping process just recieving your replacement.
End note => Sideshow have the best cs in the business and I wouldnt worry about replacements they allways come through like professionals in my experience.

Thanks, I thought they would tell me to break it also but they've already told me to send it back to them. I'm really concerned about packaging it up since there are some really fragile parts. Speaking of that does anyone happen to ave any photos of how this was all packaged up? Specifically where the foam and inserts were to protect the statue.

I'd estimate 150 + 35 full Goros or so.
They explained in the Facebook group. The APs that are being sent out now are signed by Bryon Webster while he was doing QC of the final production run in China.

I showed this to an old friend with whom I used to play MK1 and MK2 on SNES. He pretty much went gaga over it and asked how to go about getting it, almost assuming they're just made to order.

Before I break his heart, figured I'd ask here. Has anyone who jumped on the waitlist converted?

Just tell him to get on the waitlist ASAP. Now that they've made it easier to get in the list, by the click of a button, it's also as easy to cancel, so I'd expect more turnover than before.
