Anyone seen these Spider-Man Origins figures?
I just discovered these online, and I was wondering if anyone had seen these in person yet. They're 6 inches tall. I'm not overwhelmed by them, but I suspect I'll have to pick up a Mysterio. Just because he's Mysterio.

yeah they're out now, every one of them is just a repaint of the old toybiz SMC line, i grabbed the demogoblin though as i missed him the first time around and needed him to fill in the gap in my goblin collection

I thought that Lizard looked suspiciously familiar, but mine has been boxed up for years so I couldn't compare.
Is this the same line the Spidey 2099 and Symbiote Spidey are in? Those are the only ones I've seen so far and I'm really digging the '99.

I had not seen these before, but as soon as I saw that pic I knew the Lizard was a simple re-release.
I still know nothing about the line. You say there will be a Spiderman 2099 tuv? A re-release of the toybiz KB Exclusive from years past?

It may very well be a re-release if that's what most of that villains wave is. I can't recall seeing a Spider-Man 2099 figure before but KB has been dieing a very slow death around here since I was like, 14...it's a pretty good possibility that it was released before and it never made it around here.
Here's the full line-up. They don't look so hot in this pic, but they all looked pretty good in person.

Rhino looks like he's tap-dancing. What a menancing pose.

hmmm...interesting....
This is the KB figure I was talking about
<IMG SRC=http://gofigureactionfigures.com/media/spiderman2099(classic).jpg>
It MIGHT be a new sculpt after all??? It looks like the KB figure had more abdominal articulation. This one is much darker in color too...
Remember THIS old Spiderman 2099?

Saw them at several places already, Wal-Mart, Target and TRU. Picked up the Venom cuz I missed the one Toybiz put out.
There's nothing new in this line, no new sculpt at all, just repainted figures from Toybiz, and the package looks dumb. I'm not quite happy about the license switch so far, Hasbro haven't put out anything new and keep making werid shape blister cards.

I think the KB looks like it has other points of articulation that the new one is missing as well. If you look at the legs on the KB figure, you can see they're all sliced up, which doesn't appear to be the case on the new one.
Personally, I favor a little less articulation, especially on thin figures like Spidey or female sculpts. It takes away from the visual appeal which is why I buy them in the first place.
I'll have to give them the once over when they bring them back out at work. They're supposed to be redoing the action figure aisle tonight but probably won't make it that far.

i HATE how they never look as good as the adverts - that spidey 2099 looked fantastic in the promo pieces..not so much in real life.
And hey, that GG was in the Marvel legends series as well -= way to keep on using the same character!
