this is my first time considering purchasing a piece from SS in this fashion. So does this mean that if I want this piece at the discounted price that they are offering, I need to wait for what exactly.?

Because when I check the link that was just included in this chat, it says....currently unavailable.

I do see the note above it saying that slight box damage, save 15%, learn more......

Hello I have this statue and did not see many pictures of it in this topic so I thought i'd post mine https://imgur.com/a/QHBcjvC

I really like this Darth Vader it looks amazing and the light up stuff is nice. His helmet looks great and also has the two-tone paint from ANH. His cape is absolutely massive and can be set in many different positions. The only downside is that the electronics have to be turned on piece by piece and the belt has to be unwrapped.
He looks alot better in real life because my phone takes awful pictures.

No it doesn't but it's painted in such a way that it does look like it lights up when the saber is on, it's pretty nice.
Only his belt, chest piece and saber light up as in the movies.

and are they all connected when plugged in or are they relying on batteries..?

The saber is via a AC adapter, the belt has little batteries and a switch on it and the chest piece is magnetic and has a little switch on the back
