You guys are just throwing the first sentence in bold in the OP to the wind at this point, huh?

A sound observation, Rod, and one that calls for further discussion.

Still funny. I quoted this earlier and commented and it's gone. Not just from the board, but it's not even in my post history. Like I just imagined it. I'm not THAT crazy yet.

I saw it too Snappa!! You aren't imagining things. Or we're having one big group delusion... I'm not sure which.

Rocket deleted a bunch of posts to keep this thread on topic. It's working really well.

This is a great thread, I just want to share these other resources too...
Comic Art Community Commissions Thread:
http://comicartcommunity.com/chat/viewforum.php?f=24
Comic Art Commissions also has reviews on some of the artists. It's a good place to check and see if the artist you'd like to work with is listed and has any Reviews:

-1 Alex Owens - www.Alex0wens.deviantart.com - I paid for a commission in December 2009 (2 1/2 years ago). He won't respond to emails or messages anymore or give refunds. If you read the comments on his website, dozens (if not more people) have been waiting for years too.

+1 Leo Leibelman - Set up with the help of Bob Shaw from comicarthouse.com
(really great guy to work with!). Great communication, fast turnaround time
and the artwork exceeds my expectations. Very positive experience.
