yeah, Adam's are worth 3 to 5 times more on ebay than the 200 asking price (as long as the subject matter is a hot chick).

barry kitson: whatever you want; one character pencil/ink/watercolor: free. And he's a great guy as well.
Doug Braithwaite: torso: in pencil: free. Also a great guy, btw.

This is a really handy list! Not that I plan to get many done, but it's nice to know one of my favourites (Bruce Timm) is quite affordable.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I am not sure if Amanda Conor's price is correct. Its $200 for a full body and then fractions for 3/4, bust and headshot, but I do not think it goes down to $40.
At philly Shane Davis was $60 for a pencil head shot
Kevin Maguire is $100 for an inked headshot
Chris Uminga was up to $75 for a full body marker piece.
Joe Linsner has a sliding scale but a detailed color full body is approximately $400
Ebas was at $200 for full commissions and $40 for stand in line sketches
Franco offers crayon full figures for $1 (adults) and $0(kids)
At NYCC Brian Bolland offers a sliding scale for head and head/shoulder sketches of varying levels of detail. Less detailed ones were $150, well detailed ones were $250, and very detailed ones (like my avatar) were $500.
At NYCC, Finch was doing headshots for $60, busts for $100, 3/4 for $200 and full body pencils for $500

They start at $1500 now for 11x17. And there's a waitlist.
Tall commissions are more.

You paid $500 for a just a head?
But who am I to judge? I paid Campbell around 2G for a full figure

Wow, I always entertained the idea of getting a Campbell sketch. That's sort of way out of my price range. At the very least, it several years off.
