Mondo is a Texas based AI computer system developed by Texas Instruments. It's primary programming was designed to track and record compulsive habits of consumers. In about 2007 it started generating paper products with pop cultural images in an effort to enslave a subset of the human population. Based on internal documentation, the program has been a success as thousands of humans become fixated with releases, called "drops", and productivity declines for that population to near zero while awaiting the releases. A larger scale test has so far failed in public venues and the machine seems to thrive best when the human subject is alone, preferably in an underground dwelling area owned by the subject's parents.
