that's prolly as big as it could be too cause they were big, doubt they could include shoulders for a reasonable price.

I would imagine if they are doing an original MIB (not 2 or 3) creature it would have to be the Edgar bug. It was THE creature from that movie. And whilst I think most of it was CGI I remember the Propstore had an Edgar mask listed at one time
That aside, I imagine maquettes were still made in the production phase (not unlike the Legacy Hulk from Avengers). After doing a little googling I found a few images of what appear to be an Edgar maquette that Appears to have been the work of artist Eddie Yang for the original movie (see pics below). Eddie Yang now appears to be collaborating with Steve Wang from what I've read.
I'm really hoping this means a 1:3 scale Edgar maquette

you mean the big roach? I don't remember it looking anything like that. It would be amazing if Wang could get the rights to do a guyver maquette, that would sell like crazy, mostly in Asia prolly though.

Yep. The big roach or Edgar bug as he was known. What we saw on film was predominantly CGI, there may have been a few physical props and pre production maquettes etc. If they are doing an MIB creature, then the Edgar bug would be the one to do. I for one would love a 1:3 maquette of what we do see on screen
Doing a little more googling and apparently there was an animatronic version made by Rick Baker, and whilst it was never used (they went CGI instead) the screen Edgar was based on this one.

Sweeeet....MIB!
Don't care for the other licences. Would love to see this little dude from the movie. He was actually my favourite, would be cool if he came looking exactly like this.
