I don't know about you guys but I think this piece looks stunning. Its got my order. Lazy variant or not it still looks an amazing piece.

Yeah I keep on looking at this piece once in awhile it does look really good I really want a Superman and for me this one could be it

I’m waiting to see prime 1s dark knights metal Superman reveal before I make my decision

I do see what people’s problems are with the piece the only thing i really would have liked is a heat vision portrait but thats really it

I think it looks good, only thing I guess I would've preferred is if they redesigned the base more than just a color swap. But I get it. It's a variant to make some quick $. I still think it looks good.

Main problem I have is I have the regular version, and I just can't see myself buying the exact same one with a different color. I definitely wouldn't want to display both with the same bases so if anything I'd have an entire statue switch out lol. But that's not overly appealing to me.

I MIGHT sell the regular version and swap that for the DKR Superman, and then get this one

I see it like he just came back to life so the base matches

Correct me if I’m wrong the base is from a cemetery?

And the other thing for me is this would go great with my prime 1 doomsday since it’s part of the death of Superman concept

I like the short haired with beard portrait not a big fan of the mullets but I grew up in the mullet era it still gives me nightmares to this day :P.

Its a really nice looking statue I think and the base I do prefer to the original colour the green leaves on the original are just a tacky green I think. I think this sculpt with the black and silver emblem just looks fantastic. I know its a lazy variant and people will understandably not want it for that reason. For me it will be my first 1/3 superman so I am happy with that.

So this now shows as an arrival of August on Sideshow's site, which means they're going to have it in stock shortly. A bit odd that NO ONE thus far has posted any in-hand pictures/videos of this statue straight from P1.
