Randy had a plan and he just came charging out. It was great just watching him tear in.

Another impressive fighter was Roger Huerta. He owned his opponent. The guy just got pummeled, but the best was when The Matador used the TV screens to see where the guy's head was when he got behind him. Then he just started throwing vicious elbows back. It was like he was playing a video game.

I like Grove as well, but I think he came in overconfident. Cote really put it to him. I expected a lot more out of Grove.

Plus, I think Cote was riding a bot high on the Canadian presence in the crowd. Most were there for St. Pierre, but he definitely got a boost.

So much for "Babalu"....

Renato "Babalu" Sobral has been released from his UFC contract for refusing to immediately break a chokehold after his opponent tapped out at UFC 74, UFC president Dana White confirmed on Thursday.
