It's true. We have to have variety. Eric, if you read this, i think you might need to suggest to guys at koto, characters like Iron Fist and Moon Knight. I mean, a series a la Marvel Knights, would be awesome. For example characters that are participating in Shadowland. You could even make dioramas of the Shadowland storyline. Make dios of covers like that one of Moon Knight vs. Ghost Rider. Or the one of Spidey vs. The Punisher.

I think that he X-Men line and how many of them are cued up is a welcome sign of Koto's direction. A dedicated series in a particular and popular art style that will emcompass many if not all members of the team.

I agree, but as a collector of a variety of lines and characters I do want one piece that is the best interpretation or representation of that character.

Included in my decision is size, pose and quality of sculpt. Price is last. Lets use the Cinemaquette predator as an example. Great pose (beats out the only other competitor at nearly that size). Sculpt & quality, best I've seen for that size and character. Price, steep but worth shelling out since it is the center piece of my Predator collection.

For me it is about having one piece that stands above them all for each line. That's why I love Jerry's SF line. For the most part he captures the essence of the characters in his Statues and allows me to discard the smaller less attractive lines I have collected over the years.
