yes it did have some balance updates ... and it might have tweaked things for the better in the update but i guess im just sour with the omega mode... its ok to play for a few minutes but it loses its fun factor quick (for me at least)
i prefer the chess gameplay that street fighter is .. if i want a fun broken mess ill play marvel
it could have been worse, it could have been paid dlc

Wow Omega is so weird. I mean it plays exactly like a PC hack or indeed Rainbow Edition.
You end up in weird places after certain moves.
Fun to watch some of the crazy moves like Blanka's warp and M. Bison's insane Psycho Crusher.
But I think I may have already had my fill.
Endless is a mess. Why they didn't have 3 types of lobb lobbies I do not understand. 1. Ultra, 2. Omega, 3. Edition Select.
Still, you can play ranked as Ultra only. I think that's where I'll spend my time.....although considering buying GG Xrd for the PS4.

ya i played for 2 days and gave up already, even base ultra is a mess. Its still not solid like AE 2012 was, the new mechanics messed the coding up.
Omega is a hacked game, thats all it is and its sad now the FGC is crying for it to be fixed and balanced which is more or less the nail in the coffin for SF4.
Bornfree its funny you mentioned GG, most of my SF friends have said the same thing now going to GG and just waiting for SF5 now.

Well, I bought a PS4 during Black Friday sales, and then I bought one of the last USF4 PS4 sticks at the Capcom Cup. Markman said there were only three left. And they went in about 3 seconds after he said that!
I think they will release another PS4 USF4 stick in the spring but with different artwork. That's my hunch.
Anyway, so now I'm all set. All I need is GG Xrd, then I'll be waiting until the USF4 port in Spring 2015 (hoping netcode will be good - then I can sell my 360) and then SF5 in 2016.

yea i agree its time to give guilty gear a try.. im just waiting to have enough for a stick then ill make the jump .. the game looks good!
