Denver Comic Con 2017

Denver Comic Con 2017 starts on June 30th. In just a few short years it's grown to the third largest Con in the country.

This year my company is the presenting sponsor and we've built an awesome booth for the Con. Of course, I was the one who put forth the sponsorship opportunity and I'm grateful my CEO permitted me to take it on.

Should be a great Con!

Great show! We had 115K attendees, making it the 3rd largest in the country. Proud to have been the presenting sponsor and we had tons of traffic through our booth.

We had a set built, like an Adam West Batman set, where the side of a building was along the ground and people could "scale" the wall with a licensed Marvel character actor dressed as Spider-Man, then go to one of 3 iPad station to email professional photos taken of them to themselves. We also had scratch off tickets with 125 winning tickets for two to go to a theater we bought out to see the Thursdaypreview of Spider-Man Homecoming. We had close to 2k photos taken over 3 days, from 10am - 6pm each day. That's roughly 83 photos an hour!

We have photos on our company's FB page:

This is just so damn cool. You must have had a ball. Did you have time to walk the con? Pick up any goodies?

I did walk the Con. I picked up those Spider-Man issues with Blade and Morbius that you and I've been discussing, as well as Tales of Suspense #59, first issue of Cap's first Silve Age solo series.
