The original Donkey Kong Country on the SNES was awesome. I geuss my new fav is NHL 2004. Oh, and I can't froget about Halo...

i would have to go with:
old school : solstice for nintendo
new school : halo
new school : asherons' call ( mmorpg for comp ) - was addicted to this game for 8+ hrs a day for 3 years
