Soulcalibur IV

I only bought the Soul Calibur 2 for the PS2 so I have only played Heihachi as a special character.

I have not tried Spawn and Link for the other consols.

Sould Calibur 3 for the PS2 is great. I liked the feature where you can buy stuff and make your own character. I hopse this feature will be in SC4 as well.

The one think i hope they improve is the animations of the character. I haven't seen realisting movements on a character ever. They seem to just upgrade the graphics and leave it at that

Soul Caliber is the only good 3D fighter, IMO.

There's a RUMOUR that the PS3 version will include Kratos (from God of war) and the 360 version Dante (from Devil may cry). Not too far fetched considering they did the same thing with SC2 (Gamecube => Link // PS2 => Heihachi // Xbox => Spawn) but nothing official as of yet.

I don't see how the 360 would have slightly better lighting and particle effects,being that the PS3 is graphically superior...I think it would be the other way around.

But also Dante was an SONy exclusive but even though he's cross platforms I can see Master Chief being in the 360 version.

Yes you are correct about the ps3 being slightly superior in hardware. The reason for the games less showing it though, and this is only my guess, is that sony's new hardware is just harder to work with. Some examples of better lighting and particle effects in games on 360 than on ps3 are Call of duty 3 and Virtua fighter 5.

Master chief would have been an obvious choice, were it not that he's already in Dead or alive 4. Like I said though it's just rumours at this point.

There was a time were I was all over Tekken but that was untill they rearanged the gameplay in Tekken 4

I'm kinda liking the Dante piece but it hasnt wowed me or grown on me yet. I went ahead and pre ordered the Lara pf but I'm not convinced about her either. Havent seen the SF statues (your not talking about the Pop culture ones I assume), I'll check em out.

What would make me go crazy are some Gears of war and Resident evil 4 statues

The thing is, the CM Pred has got my mind preoccupied with where am I going to get the funds, how/where am I going to be able to obtain him (since CM dont ship outside the US) and if I eventualy manage to get him, where will I display him. Still a long time before it ships though...oh and the fact that Sideshow have announced some amazing pieces also (T-800 BD bust among others) isnt helping my funding problem much
