I find the pose looks a little stiff. not dynamic enough, nor museum enough. But that's just me.

As a whole piece it's ok but should have been far far better head wise.
No company should be getting this wrong now, there are far too many great examples out there of the head to get it wrong!!

Question… You guys are more in the know on this topic than I am. I really would love a life-size Alien for my display room… If this is not *the one*....Do you guys recommend any other?
Thanks crew!

If your looking for a statue that relates to Giger's original creature design from 1979 then this is the only life-size ALIEN statue commercially available to collectors and is the 2nd version that HCG has produced.
The 1st HCG version had some problems, especially with the head & dome but this newer version does look to be a great improvement, although not spot on (yet).

HCG are said to be releasing some updated images soon of the actual factory made statues and from what i've been told there should be an improvement to the dome (hopefully).

You can get statues privately made by professional prop makers BUT your talking a lot of money, serious money!

As a display statue it will be VERY impressive, especially with some carefully angled lighting.

I'm currently on the fence, awaiting the updated images before choosing if to order or walk away.

The head & dome MUST be correct, keep your fingers crossed!

Way better upper front teeth compared to the recent Prime 1 Big Chap, who's upper front teeth look arc shaped/over curved.

Thing is, if you look at all the old original promotional images of gigers original, the upper top 4 middle teeth do seem to have a slight arc shape to them which i don't mind to be honest.

New images said to be coming soon, hopefully the wait will not be too long (hopefully).

The production piece pics on the HCG website look fantastic to me. With this piece around 8 ft tall though, it seems you'd need at least 8.5-9 ft ceilings for this to fit. Mine aren't even a full 8 ft! I wonder why they chose to make the base so tall?
