First thought was how popular this will actually be. Has a fandom ever cooled off and moved on faster than after that final GoT season?

They really ruined it, contrived and anticlimactic. Just like when Denarys was killed. As soon as season 7 had the pointless ed sheeran cameo we all should've known it would end badly. I probably would've bought this too. No one has ever alienated a fanbase like beinoff and weiss except maybe rian johnson and jj abrams

Seems to be the consensus. Never been so excited about a show and then gotten over it so quickly ever. The last season was so bad that I don't even want to revisit the early awesome seasons.

I rewatch up to season 4 finale and am done. Those were among the best television ever made. The rest...well, my wait for book 6 continues. I think the Others will be far more interesting and satisfying there than the anti climatic show version.
Oh, and statue is nice.
