What do you think this is worth?

I'm putting this signed & framed lithograph on ebay,it was professionally framed with uv glass for around $100.It was signed in pencil by Alex Ross & signed in pen by Dave Cockrum.I got this litho 4 years or so ago from Dynamic Forces. What do you think it is worth or what i should sell it for?Would $200 with free shipping be to much?I would like your opinions. Thanks

I can't get the picture up for some reason but it is the Alex Ross homage to dave cockrum litho of the X-Men, wolverine, cyclops, night crawler, banshee, colossus, storm, phoenix.

Lithos are generally a tough sell these days because 1) They're relatively easy to find and real cheap, 2) More people prefer to use their limited funds to buy original art these days, 3) There's virtually no resale value to lithos at all unless it's something really rare.

However, it's not like C-ckrum's signature is all that easy to find these days.
You could get lucky.

Hope this helps!

People who buy art, don't really give any value to the frame. I have learned this in the past. The item would sell the same framed or not. Sometimes people don't bid on framed items because they don't want to deal with it. $100 seems cheap for a frame for a piece that big. I had The Avengers Assemble piece framed about 10 years ago, and they are the same size. It cost me around $300 to frame.

But like other have said, I don't think you are going to get what you have put into it. Limited editions with this economy, people are just doing with out.

Keep the frame. Reuse it.
