Thank you

Cross for Kier is finished
With drybrushes I added a bright metallic (War Paint Fairy Dust mixed with Yellow) shimmer to the mystical flames.
Looks really cool.

Next, I have to make a recess in the base for the cross, but it's currently raining and I'm not doing that in the house.
Then assemble the parts.

To make it look realistic, I would have to transfer the glow of the flames onto Kier's skin, but I don't really dare.

Thank you for the kind comments

Just finished and thought I'd take two photos

The skull is only attached with "silly putty". So I can take the statue off the base. The cross is firmly attached to the base and cannot be removed

Next step:
Clothing or wings. But I still have to practice a little with Aves for this work.

Thank you for your nice words

I did a little bit of work on Alice. Everything is still raw but this is the last time I paint a statue that is assembled. It's so unwieldy.
Yesterday I almost threw Alice in the trash can. It's so much easier when you just have the pieces.
But it is also for learning, so I keep doing it.

Stockings:
I planned to make the first blue ring and the white ring black.
The rest of the stockings red. The little bow tie then also red. But first the upper body has to be finished

well both of these are looking great, from what i can tell from your picture youre doing a nice job on alice considering shes assembled. thats one of the reasons none of my stuff is finished, painting a statue feels so final and mistakes are harder to correct. i give you props for taking the plunge

Looks nice. The colors are quite vibrant. Sculptures and some figures really require a lot of detail and can take a long time. It's great to watch your skills. I guess you are working on 3 different sculptures right now, right?
