Convince me to buy a PSP
I am in 2 minds if i should buy a PSP or not.
I like the styling of the thing and like the idea of playing the games and watching UMDs on the move but can't justify spending that much money on it and don't know what else i could use it for.
Anyone got one??
What you guys think of it??

I've had one since day 1. The screen and it's output is absolutely amazing. The biggest negative is that the initial games just weren't that good. That's changed somewhat now. I have a few UMD movies but it's much easier (and cheaper in the long run) to get a couple of 2GB memory stick duo cards and rip your own movies. Like I said earlier the movies look absolutely amazing on that screen. Get one.

Not supporting piracy at all, but there are plenty of websites out there that tell you how to hack the firmware on certain models to allow you to play games off the memory stick, homebrew games/apps and run other game system emulators on the PSP's.

i have one and a few movies and games
but i cant say i have any use for it.
i used it on a few trips in the airport and once or twice wating places.
i say if you commute to work using public transportation or are always flying its great otherwise i wouldnt. also you cant really use this thing outside. the sun makes the screen non-viewable, so you cant watch a move on the beach or by the pool.

I got one on launch... and Sony has not really supported it with new software or games... Kind of sad because the machine itself kicks ass... I use it mainly to watch shows on the go now... get yourself a 2 gb Pro Duo and you have about 4 hours of programming... which looks amazing...
If you are looking for a gaming machine though... the DS is the way to go at half the price... Nintendo's first party support is the best in the business... and the DS is supported well by them...

I love mine....great screen, good to play online on some games....Do like Zurb says and buy a couple of big memory sticks......

Oh... I forgot to mention... they are going to intergrate the PSP into the PS3... Firmware 3.0 allows you to download PS One games through the PS3... and play them on your PSP... sound confusing... it is... for you cannot use the service unless you have a PS3.
