I think Dep was playing Wonka as a kid-toucher, at least that the way I saw the movie. I perfer the one that was made in the 70's to this steaming pile of pooh.

I am saying that he looked and acted like a kid toucher, with out ever doing so.
He was just too weird and creepy and pale.
