^ yea I agree AB, the paint app needs a more chrome look. The grey makes it look almost plastic.

Haven't said that in a long time, but yeah, I'm thinking that may be a real possibility also.

However, the sculpt is fantastic
Chrome paint is exceptionally hard to photograph, it may just be the lighting. I'm sure once you have it in person it will look like metal.

Yeah, I'm giving for granted they're using the same paint of the 1:1 Endo. We've already seen how different it appears in the pics depending on lighting.
This is unless they're going for some kind of Two Face Endo with a metallic back and a matte front, lol:

It wouldn't be accurate to the real thing if they did that, they are painted. So people will complain either way

5K reasonable, even 6k, but going up to 7K with taxes and shipping, its really to much, and i do agree especially if its at that price, Vader is right, it should be triple chrome plated. I want the lifesize endo, already have the sideshow one, but would like a new genesys one with NO guns. Sideshows aleady took care of that. Dont need more guns. PLUS, sideshow is still availble on thier site and comes with two guns. So Paul, I think you have read enough of the thoughts of life size collectors. When it was est around 5K, alot of happy collectors, when 7K came up, alot said they were going to pass. So its a fine line between selling alot of them or alot of people passing on them. Id really hope chronicle takes this into consideration. Even sideshows 2.0 version is the best quality one yet and comes with two guns, but it has no edition number and has been for sale for years now. Its not selling as good as they expected. So for people to pay MORE than the original stan winston design, there is going to have to be a real good reason. Just my opinion.

Wondering why the 1:1 keeps being brought up in the 1/4 thread, can we keep this to 1/4

Dying for more full body shots with the gun! The paint looks a little matte to me too, but it looks metal in the in progress pic.

You won't triple plate a 1:1 Endo at that price, I cant see the 1:1 being metal anyway. It would be too heavy to ship. If your in the UK ring London Chroming (probably one of the best in the UK and most of the top show bikes had work done there) ask for a quote for one of these, then you'll see what I mean. I spent a small fortune and my stuff was nowhere near the size of the Endo.
