The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Normally, I'm an advocate for fabric capes and mixed media, but I don't like this one here.

Everything looks decent in the most recent pic, but something is off with the pose in how he's leaning back and to the left. I don't like that.

Anything over $600 for this is not worth it.

Because of Sideshow more or less craping on their 1/4 scale Marvel/DC movie line (except for a few), most of us ‘interested’ in such pieces have had to move on to other manufacturers and scales, which have meant getting used to higher than Sideshows ‘standard’ prices unfortunately.

I think the $600 mark that you’re looking at for Iron Studios pieces hasn’t really existed for their movie pieces for a long while. Since four out of six of their Civil War line many years back in 2016 (shipped in 2017), with the other two going for $800.

And then you had IW Iron Spider $800, IW Thanos $1,000, EG Thor $760, Cap $700, Deluxe $800, Thanos $1,000, Deluxe $1,200, Mark 85 $900, Deluxe $1,200. There was the odd Black Widow where the price retreated back to $700, but now the current preorders are a minimum of $1,000 unfortunately, but they’ve always been on an upward trajectory.

Unfortunately, this piece will probably be at least $1000 so definitely not worth it. And I agree the mixed media cape does not look good here.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Seems like the cape is now sculpted?

I still prefer the Prime 1 head sculpts to this one.

And yes the cape appears to be sculpted now.

I’ve rarely ever liked thin material capes, as they always look somewhat cheap. But I do like the ‘leather like’ capes used for movie Batman pieces.

The head sculpt is like a weird mix of PCS’s basic sculpts with hints of JND. And it’s too shiny.

But .. there’s something about it. Very nice piece

Looks better than it did.
Cape looks too bulky over his left shoulder. To get Cavill Superman correct it's pretty important the cape never goes over the cap of his shoulder. Sideshow PF although far from perfect looks way better with the cape presented correctly.
