I jope they will open the EU warehouse soon, because I want to benefit from the payment plan but with the actual shipping charge and taxes it’s just not interesting.

So if Sideshow stops distribution and then there's US warehouse but no EU one then EU just has to do without until one gets set up? Oh well, we're all ----ed here in the UK due to Brexit anyway I suppose.

It should do for now, but quite how we'll fair once we leave the EU is anybodies guess at this point.

If P1 sets up US distribution then UK buyers would be most likely looking at similar numbers(but probably a wee bit higher) than they are right now with Sideshow. I don't see how UK buyers will be doing without as the US setup will effectively restore the same shipping that SS provides now. Unless I'm missing something.

I believe that most are. The only ones that I know for certain that P1 were piggybacking off of Sideshow to distribute world-wide are the Marvel and New 52 lines.

This is great news. As of now they won't ship Transformers to the US. Hope this alleviates this issue. Same with the art prints.

Just depends on how good the deal is with the new distribution. Sideshow may not be getting great press for their prices recently but they are at least reasonable in regards to shipping, flex plans etc. P1 prices may become more expensive - maybe by a small margin, maybe by a not so small one. I have seen UK vendors selling P1 pieces they have clearly sourced direct and they are sometimes to 2 or 3 hundred £££ more than if purchased from SS - even taking account of taxes etc.

They are already expensive pieces. UK customers may not have to do without, but if the pieces become prohibitely expensive, even more so than now, then it's as good as doing without.

P1 finalising US Warehouses will eliminate a new deal being needed in terms of distribution as they will be their own distributor. Still, I get what you mean as the price of not using a distributor will effect prices but this change is specifically to stop the need for new deals with distribution as that is where a majority of the problems currently reside for P1....dealing with the middle-man.

Will a new US warehouse mean their JP license can finally be purchased directly without having to deal with Chronicle Collectibles? I certainly hope so...
