Finally and thank you ! I had to really think about this piece because of the options that were out there with SS . At the end of the day after seeing all these in hand I chose this version as the one for me. The skin was better in person but what sold me was it’s size in comparison to XM Venom it worked excellent and the dynamic pose which really lacked in SS. The base on this was plain. Maybe some symbiotic ooze on base or stain glass windows would have broke up the grey but it wasn’t a deal breaker . XM could have made a better piece but it’s an excellent statue regardless.

I own this myself and I completely agree with all of your points. The base needed more color but carnage himself is perfect and the best one out there in my opinion.

Very nice piece but is it really worth more than 2x the price of the Sideshow piece to get in the US? Seen mixed opinions on this one.

Only you can answer that for yourself. Do you like the Sideshow piece just as much? If so, then it's probably not worth it to pay extra for the XM.
If you like the XM much more, then it might be worth it...I have seen it being offered at very reasonable prices.

Honestly there is no contest between the two. Sculpt , quality , pose and paint destroy Sideshow . I was on the fence myself made the leap I’m glad I did if you look they can be bought for better prices. Is it the best piece I’ve ever seen or owned . No! It’s awesome for me it’s the sum of the parts that make the whole. Meaning Venom, Anti Venom and this piece pull off what I wanted as a group.

I can take this one over any Venom released from any companies. The only Venom that touched me is still the concept by Resinworx. Anyway receiving Carnage next week woohooo.
