togo - 10/10
watched this based on the reviews from here and have to say, i was not disappointed. i dont like giving things a perfect score but i really cant think of a single way this could have been better. great story, solid acting (even by the dogs!), stunning visuals - really just absolutely awesome. if youve ever had a dog grab some tissues, it even got me - my girlfriend was a mess

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) - Based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod.
I did not expect a movie about the congenial and serene Fred Rogers to have such a large amount of tension--which of course is due to the fact that the movie isn't really about Mr. Rogers at all, but journalist Lloyd Vogel and his personal problems. 8/10

Agreed. I also gave it a 10/10 & I don't think I've ever done that here. I watched it again & loved it as much.

The Edge of Democracy (2019) - Political documentary and personal memoir collide in this exploration into the complex truth behind the unraveling of two Brazilian presidencies.
Brazil's government has a lot of problems. 7/10

Knives Out (2019) - A detective investigates the death of a patriarch of an eccentric, combative family.
I see why the screenplay is nominated for an Academy Award. And what a great cast. 8/10
