Gonk:

I have a couple questions:

1) Why name plates? If we are spending 200 dollars on a statue... you would think we would know the character.. I personally find them distracting

2) Chrome Process? Is the Iron Man Chrome at all? How about a Silver Surfer?

3) I know all Statue companies can pull off the Heavy Hitters: Thor, Spiderman, Capt America... but how you going to pull off the lower tier characters like Hawkeye, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Dr. Strange

Thanks for your time!

On the Movie Iron Man Statue, are those the final colors as shown in the pics I've seen? In the movie the red is more vibrant, hot rod red as Tony put it.

Yeah... that was a no-go for me.

They responded and had no information.

The "brow" of the movie version is curved, whereas the Koto's is straight. And the mouth area on the Koto looks slightly wider than the Movie. The top of the gold part of the mask also sticks out too much for my liking.

Here's the Sideshow bust for comparison:

Haven't compared the rest of the body but the head differences really jumped out at me. I also share the same sentiments regarding the red..

I believe this statue is based on the following photo with a similar pose. And this was the first photo released with the actor in real costume. And as you can notice, the eye brow here is not curved either.

Here is another photo which does have the curved eye brow. So there is some inconsistency or perhaps in the earlier photo it just appears that way due to the angle and lighting. And in every other shot I have noticed the eye brow is curved.

Erm... the photo issue is just a matter of perspective. The straight brow photo has been taken from a lower perspective (as he's looking slightly upward) which is why you can't see the curve. Do we know for sure that it isn't the same issue with the statue because in the statue pic he appears to be looking slightly upwards again.

(Not that this really bothers me one way or the other because I've already got mine on order.)
