Ty Templeton in Coma
Apparently medically induced following a heart attack. He's only 52 years old, reported in critical but stable condition on John Bogdavane's Facebook page.
Ty recently drew the Batman'66/Green Hornet crossover, did the Spider-Man/Human Torch mini series and may best be known for his Batman Adventures work.

Must've suffered a major heart attack to be put into a coma. Not the norm at all. I hope he pulls through. 52 is way too soon.

Agreed.
Robot 6 reports he's off a ventilator and now able to speak, but awaiting second angioplasty surgery, delayed due to a kidney stone.

Best wishes for his recovery. What a blow.
I love his work - especially Batman animated and '66. The "Bun Toons" on his website always leave me laughing.

Wow. I've been a big fan of Ty's for years. Stig's Inferno anyone?
I wish him the best and hope for a speedy recovery. This happened to my mother-int-law 15 years ago or so, though she was a lot older than 52.
