Attakus: French Vs. Japanese editions- what's the difference?

Curious to know the difference between the two.
I know that the French edition is a run of 1500 with the exception of the Sand Sarge @ 750, and the Japanese edition is a run of 200.

Beyond this are there any other differences in quality, manufacturing etc?

Thanks!

The only difference I've seen was with the Royal Guards. The "cane handle" it's painted different on them. I had two Japanese and two French pieces, and the handle was painted different.

Thanks for the info- I was just curious. Sounds dumb, but I don't think I would want to collect any of the Japanese editions. I would want them to be from all the same "set".
All my Attakus are French edition so far and I was recently offered a Japanese edition statue, but passed on it. The same reason why I would not collect GG promo busts. Regardless of value (GG promos are worth more, Japanese Attakus are worth less), I would like my collection to be consistent

Has anyone else heard of, or know of any other differences between French and Japanese editions?

I have heard that the Japanese edition Royal Guard is hollow etc..

there indeed is some difference between royal guard in terms of weight/hollowness but as far as I know, that has nothing to do with japanse/international edition. As I have two RGs both international edition but one is hollow and one is solid.....

I guess that particular case of hollow Royal Guards is not specific to Japanese editions, but it completely random?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I would not hesitate to buy a Japanese version. But most of them are in Japan, and I don't want to buy international, so I guess that solves that!

True, but you can get the Japanese editions for significantly cheaper sometimes if you look around. Even when you take shipping into consideration
If you don't care about having a mix of French/Japanese, then it's the way to go to save a few $$$ that's for sure!
