So I ordered this from Secret Compass thinking I’d save money on shipping. I waited 6 months after it started shipping for them to finally get it then they charged me $240 to ship it from Colorado to Montana. I’m never ordering from them again.

That charge is ridiculous. Shipping costs are sky high right now.

If it's anything like Superman it'll be a substantial box. Certainly pricey though. But, unfortunately, I think you would've ended up paying around that regardless of who you purchased from.

Economy shipping direct from Prime 1 is cheaper and I would have had it 6 months ago. Secret Compass made a big deal about being a direct Prime 1 distributor and being able to pay domestic shipping rather than the inflated overseas shipping...but somehow it was more.

Ah, okay. That is unfortunate then. I suspect they’re passing on some of that supplier shipping cost.

What is economy shipping worth? We don’t get that option in Australia, so it would cost us around US$300 direct from Prime 1.

Same thing over here, they charged me $250 to ship to Virginia. Like you are saying it seems high but they are saying it weights close to 60 pounds and prices have been high lately because of the pandemic I guess.

I wonder how much was the shipping from Spec Fiction

If this was 1/3 it would have been a instant buy from me, but sadly I'm not into mixing sizes when all of my DC stuff is 1/3.

Same here. I passed on this only due to the scale. If it'd been 1/3 scale, it'd have been a day 1 order for me.

So it sounds like they charged a flat rate rather than a calculated rate since I'm only 8 hours away. The label on the box says 51 lbs. I guarantee it wasn't $250 to ship to me.
