While I don't get the muscular physique, I still think this is an upgrade from the original. This new sculpt makes the original look more animated. This is definitely more realistic, which I like.

It's a well sculpted piece, but it's just not my Ivy. I'll happily stick with my Green with Envy.

I wonder if the base will be similar to the Spider-Man Miles Morales piece, but instead of a Venom head, a big monstrous plant?

To be fair, I do not think people are hating on this piece as they can appreciate the work behind it. However, it seems it's just not the Ivy they know (and appear to prefer), at least first impression-wise.
