And then you throw in the MB prices as comparison...

Aren't we talking about Fs pieces here?
What exactly is the chip on your shoulder regarding this topic? Am I missing something? Did you have a bad Asgardian experience in another life?

It's called a reply. Are they not Bowen Thors? Still, the busts do indicate that an edition size of 3000 would be too high. Obviously there are no recent Thor statues available to better compare. If you want something close though,
http://cgi.ebay.com/MIB-LE-Beta-Ray-...item415a6db0cd

Then imagine if the ES and MSRP was higher.

Irrelevant. There are much less mini-bust collectors than full size sculptures collectors.

Sorry but since it's Thor by Bowen and it came out a few months ago, it's at least a little relevant. Where do you get your info?

1.) Mini Bust
2.) Mini full size sculpts
3.) Full size
Mini Bust
These sculpts will never cost as much as a mini fs sculpt or a regular fs (full size) sculpt. There are some rare exceptions to this but the majority is true. These sculpts are popular with some collectors who fancy smaller statues or who have space issues. Mini bust are great for Bowen because these are cheaper to produce and Bowen can do obscure characters that will never sell well in fs form. Great mb (mini bust) sell well above retail.
Full size Mini Statue
Bowen produced these things very early on and has not produce them in a very long time and I don't see them coming back anytime soon. They are fs size sculpts but they are just smaller cheaper versions of the regular fs sculpts. These hold their value but hot characters sell well above retail. You won't see too many of these.
Full Size
These are the Creme de la creme of statues. They are the most prolific and expensive of the bunch. Hot characters sell way above retail and are the ones sought after the most.
The stuff you have listed are mb and Beta Ray Bill. I'm sorry but this is not the statue in question. You will be hard pressed to find a regular museum fs Thor for under $200 and the new sculpt from Thor with the spinning hammer is already closer to $300 and I can't see any dealer selling this for under $200 it's not gonna happen and time will bear this out in the after market. The museum Thor had 3000 copies and it still sells for higher than retail and that's with 3000 copies. I'm sorry but that's unheard of with 3,000 copies. The new action Thor sculpt is even hotter than the museum so even if there is an es of 3000 you will not find for under $200 in the after market.
