Unfortunately, I am not talented in drawing. I could only paint a few. Some of them were good, but some were bad. Although it is useful to practice and focus a little, I believe that the ability to draw is innate. One of my biggest wishes was to be able to draw comic book characters and create wonderfully deep pictures, but I do not have that talent.

I understand the frame issue now. Yes, it is much better to make it when it is purchased. Also, it is much better if you do the framing yourself. Because I think there is a global increase in frame prices.

Congratulations on a nice addition to your collection.

Thank you.

Funny, I was always MUCH better with drawing and colored pencils. Paint, not so much. Probably why I've never pursued painting statues in any way..

Hopefully they send a replacement frame for the second damaged one, and maybe another 3 weeks from now I'll finally have both hanging on my wall

Must be going around, I got a framed canvas this week that had a big crack in the frame, first time for that. It's on the way back to Cali

Oof! That sucks. Hopefully it's corrected quickly.

Actually, after taking pics to describe the damage in an email to the vendor, I'd say mine was a factory QC issue. One corner was dented, even though the foam corner covers looked fine. The other corner was missing a staple, and the staple that was there was under the metal bracket, not above and below it, thus causing the bracket to not sit properly, and the whole corner to flex and have a visible gap.

EDIT: They've already sent me a new frame.

Apparently I had nothing better to do than to tear apart my front entry display. Let's call it the block, since it's just a weird block/shelf area above the garage stairs.

The 4" glass risers for the 1/4 pieces in the back simply weren't tall enough, making the front layer of Bowens overlay the back row of the 1/4, making it all too cluttered. I'm thinking a 14" clearance "riser" will be much better. I suppose placing a "table" on the block is weird, but since the block is weird to begin with, I'm giving myself a pass.

I used the 4" risers on the end pieces, since there aren't any Bowens directly in front of them on the side.

Nice, will there be any new kids on the block?

I'm trying to make that entire area Marvel so plan to move a few pieces there from the Moducase (not the Phoenix pieces though, they will stay in the moducase). The only new pieces I'm still waiting on are a custom Mister Sinister and Enchantress.

PS - the humor is not lost on me, however, more than likely, my humorous reply would have referenced some other boy band's song since I mix them all up and it would have been a fail, on my part
