It is interesting seeing one of your characters be so controversial because she's over saturated. Conflicting really. I definitely CAN'T get every Harley I see, even if that was the case only a FEW YEARS ago.  |
I don't know if it's controversial, it's may be a bit of envy. Characters I like such as Wonder Woman and Supergirl get more representation in my collection because they have so many more options. It's hard to complain about another Wonder Woman, but I've wanted a Big Barda for a long time so it'd be nice if she got one good shot someday (Tweeterhead in 2021).
In a given line I think some collectors have the notion of a sense of "fairness" where people take turns. If someone is on turn 4 before many others get turn 1 you hear some grumbles. I get the business side that "character X sells!" so crank them out, but also get fans of B and C tier characters wanting them to get an occasional option.
