I don't like how Rian Johnson basically told the viewer, here you write your own explanation for this. This is all I'm giving you.

For example, what is the deal with Kylo killing Snoke? Did he hide his true intentions from Snoke, or did Snoke know full well what would happen? Why did Snoke say what he did before Kylo killed him and should I even expect for any of it to ever be explained in the next film? Should we even care? I mean, if the writers and director don't care, why should I?
I don't think the leadership at LucasFilm is focused on telling good Star Wars stories in these films. They have other motivations. I will just leave it at that.

Yeah I think sometime along the way of the sale that Kennedy said something to the effect of (paraphrasing here) "yes she was the head of Lucasfilm and while she understood the magnitude of the responsibility of the custodial task she's been assigned for everyone to keep in my mind that first and foremost she answered to her new boss.

This all likely set much of this mess into motion.

Would anyone think Iger cares about telling good Star Wars stories?

Give me Abrams over Johnson any day. At least TFA made sense (mostly) and kept true to the original characters. TLJ was an abomination of failed comedy, pointless plot lines, careless writing and a convoluted vision of the Star Wars Universe.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

Serious question...are all 534 posts you have in this forum in this thread? Seems like it.

I see your point. I'm most displeased with my apparent lack of progress. I shall double my efforts to post more!
