Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

The titles never really impress me per se, but if you think about it they all basically just tell you what each film is about.

This one is very simple and the more I think about it, the more I like it.

“The droid will soon be delivered to the Resistance, leading them to the last Jedi. If Skywalker returns, the new Jedi will rise.”
Thanks for the refresher my man!

While the obvious meaning would seem to indicate Luke is the one being referenced keep in mind the word "Jedi" can be interpreted both plural and singularly. Another possibility is it's referring to the Jedi as a whole instead. Whether that would include Rey, assuming she becomes a Jedi and/or Finn as well makes this title all the more ambiguous.

Good point. We could potentially see another death in Luke which would make Rey the last one.

His death could parallel the one by Kenobi in A New Hope --as a way to inspire and lead.

I hope not, I would prefer if they came up with something new instead of copying the earlier movies..

I can't see them killing Luke especially with Leia now gone.

Even if they do, Luke will still be around as a force ghost, most likely.
