I remember and can understand the thinking behind Igo's comment you are referring to but then there's Bane, Black Canary, Huntress, Killer Croc, Cheetah etc which aren't all on the list of Batman's most recognized associates.
Whose going to buy a Killer Croc without owning Batman statue?
Still thrilled with a Carnage and Venom combo at the same time.
They should do Hobgoblin to pair with Green Goblin.
They could do more pairs too even though they aren't as related like Doc Octopus and Elektro.
Of course XM may be filling the demand for some of that.
