This is news? Thought it'd be obvious.

Tom Warner, Hasbro's Transformers leader, said:
This summer we worked closely with a talented team of A-list screenwriters to map out the future of the Transformers cinematic universe, and as Brian announced earlier, things kick off in a major way in 2017 with the release of Transformers 5 in June. And we’re working on a spin-off movie centered around Bumblebee for 2018 and the next chapter for 2019.

Of interest to a few of us here the June 23, 2017 date for TF5 is the same date set for the Wonder Woman solo film. Curious to see which, if either, studio moves it's date.

Hmmm...considering Warner Bros. bumped BvS before, I'm going to say WW buckles and moves.

An interesting proposal I read was that WW move up a couple weeks to a May date that falls on Mothers Day weekend. The article proposed that it would be good synergy for celebrating "Wonder Women" everywhere, which I concur TBH. WW is obviously farther along than TF5 at this point so the move up could be smart.
By the same token WW could easily win the weekend in Morth America. TF4 was horribly received and barely broke even domestically, grossing the least of the series despite the addition of the "Dinobots". Granted TF4 made insane money internationally and who knows how some of the foreign markets will view a female led film.

Looks like they're going in a different, more cartoony font style.

Megatron is one bad MF. Can't wait to see those guys at P1 do for Lord Megatron. See all you uncompromising G1 fans in line June 23.
