Well you've done another Hot Toys move on me Jerry.. you created something cooler than the game and made me appreciate a design I was never a fan of.. If you do the shoulder plates, it would be cool if you could find a way to make them removeable, because I think it looks better as it is now, they're a bit much. Or even if only half of them was showing it wouldn't be as bad, I just hate the 'witches curve' at the tail end end of the shoulder plate.

I agree. A few of the MK9 designs suffer from overcomplication, Scorpion being one of them.

As much as i love scorpion i never liked his mk9 design, i would love to have a classic bust but im sure that will never happen.

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

I disagree. The shoulder pads is one of the clear things that distinguish Scorpion from the other Ninjas. Besides, if he doesn't have the shoulder pads, then its not true to MK9.

These 1:1 busts are about authenticity of MK9 characters, not MK1, MK2, or MK3, or MKWhatILike.

But looking at these pics, I don't think the Shoulderpads need to be there. I think they would start right where the shoulder part is cut off.
