I've read the series. I think she walked out shortly after battling Ragnarok after the real Thor Girl returned having been a Skrull Impersonator earlier. I'm fairly certain she's not dead.

Maybe I was thinking of when the Skrull version was killed.

According to Aaron this was planned, to have Thor 'unworthy' for awhile and to have a new hammer bearer.

I will give it a chance to this Series.

Check this interview(sorry mods if this is against the rules)

well they cant call the chick Thor thats utterly ridiculous if they due. even if she can wield the hammer and is worthy to posses the power of Thor. that makes her Thor?
if that the case, then what Thor's real name then?

its sounding like a pretty cool story. but they cant be calling her Thor can they?

Looks like they are pushing some Inhumans into the lineup (Medusa and Inferno - the burning guy)

Marvel is really starting to lose me. We dont need switch ups and reskins of the characters, we need compelling story telling. But I guess that is not what it is about anymore.

There are still Marvel books with good storytelling, like Daredevil, Hulk or Elektra.
