Good points. Also, I mistakenly called Sir Alec, "McGuinness" in my last post. But, to the point, you're probably right about Lee's stunt double's and CGI. In episode IV, the fight scene with Vader was so slow, and had virtually no movement other than the slow sweeping parry's, so I guess there may have been no need of a stunt double for Alec "Guinness". "Old-Be Won still seemed older than 63 to me in that film though...

The original film's fight is definitely slow by modern standards, especially when compared to the prequel trilogy's fights. There were rumors for a while that Lucas was going to update the fight to match up better with the prequel fights, it never came to pass for whatever reason though.

I think Lee basically just did the closeups, but the rest was his stunt double with his face photoshopped on in post.

That's cool. Nice find.

The desert (especially one with two suns) can age a man beyond his years. Seeing as how Obi-Wan was hiding out there for the better part of two decades I don't find his appearance looking more aged than 57 a stretch really.

We only have one sun here in SoCal, but some of the sun damage I've seen on some people... Yeesh!
So Obi actually looks pretty good despite those conditions.

Yeah, I agree.

Just look at some of those construction workers and many appear 10 years older than they are. Sad really.
