GG Slave Leia ?
I keep hearing at all the boards I post at that there is a possibility that this statue may not hit shelves. I think most of it is rumors, but does anyone know why something like this would happen. I've never purchased a GG statue before and this would definitely be my first, but as a company do they have a history of this or something, or is this just rumors spreading around?
Also, did anyone find any more news out at the con about it's possible release date and price point? Thanks!

There are pictures from SDCC shown on the GG forum here. So I guess it's as good as saying we are seeing it, sometime next year.

Where did you hear this? I hope it's just rumors. Be ashame for GG to tease us like this and then pull it. My patience with them is already worn thin.

It totally shows off Leia's a$$! No cloth, just flesh right outta of a playboy pin up! It is a fanboy's dream statue. Rumors I heard is that it won't pass Lucas approve because it is not minor friendly. I have seen it and it is a great statue and I do hope they'll get it approved.

Just a question because I'm a newbie to the hobby. But, an outfit like GG displays a piece without getting license approval for the product first is standard practice? I think that's dumb to put something out there when you're unsure it would be approved only to pull it.

That's normal. Don't worry. We'll have this baby on our shelves in the near future.

I asked GG in san diego , they told me it would be up for order either fourth quarter of this year or first quarter of next year . I can't remember exactly.

Anyone know if she's up for pre-order yet?
And who do you guys go through to get her?
I did a Google search and can't find any real info from a retailer or GG.

I was reading on another site that there is a rumor from a "reliable source", that Carrie Fisher saw the statue and freaked out over it. So supposedly, GG has pulled it and is making adjustments, that's why it hasn't been up for solicitation yet. I'll probably still get it, but my enthusiam for the statue has dropped a little. Why tamper with perfection? Oh well...
