According to a legend, Michelangelo violently hit Moses´s knee with a hammer. An anger gesture that was born from the exasperation towards one perfect but mute statue therefore. The expression of Michelangelo: "Why don´t you speak" one refers to this episode.

Yes, and all the statues in that particular church ( where the Moses statue is ) are just as impressive ( IMO ).

i got mine last week and was using it as a card weight at my poker game. My female friends (who are not comic fans and know nothing of the character) made fun of the statue all night, saying he was quite gay looking, with the pose. I like the statue, good color scheme and he is sleek, not bulk up like all other superhero statues.

So, my order for Invincible was with Baystatecomics on ebay. Some of you may be familiar with this seller. Doubt I'll ever see mine. Guess I'd better order another.
