I was charged $61 for prime1 Deathstroke. I think if you guys get your statues delivered to your work, the HC changes. My friends Dark Phoenix was only $33

Just got my Red Sonja PF today and I got dinged 150 bucks in taxes and duty. My statue collecting days are almost over (after paying off the rest of my orders) and unless there is ever going to be a decent/amazing Starfire, and Zatanna 1/4 scale.

And ofc the statue has her hair chipped.

I get mine delivered to work as well, usually pay about $40-$60 per statue. I have no idea why or what the difference is, but I'm not complaining.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Have you guys got FedEx accounts?

If so, were they set up with your works address?

Yes I have FedEx account. First set up account with FedEx. Give the account # to ssc and setup shipping to work. Make sure you put your company name on your work address.

By having a FedEx account, you are waived the $10 handling fee.

I have a FedEx account already, but it's in MY name and our home address.

I'm self-employed, so my company address is my home address even though I do a combination of work-from-home and various client sites.

Sounds like I should close the existing account, and set up another in the name of my company, although it would have to stay at the home address.

Do you think that might work? (guess we'd know for sure first delivery )

If you have a company name put it on under "work" address. You don't need to close your FedEx account but u will need to change it also.

Right - I'll list out what I did / am doing in case it helps others too . . .
Sideshow
Created a new SHIPPING address labelled as "Work address".
Set the first name to "Deliveries" and last name to "Manager"
Set Company to my Company name
Rest of details set to Company (= our home) address
Made it the "default" address.
Applied it to all existing orders.
Deleted the old/original SHIPPING address I had been using.

The BILLING address has MY name though - do I need to change that? - if so, I can't do it online so guess I'd have to email Sideshow to change that?

FedEx
I'll phone them tomorrow and see if I can change the account name to the Company name.
Sound about right?

I really appreciate the help - thank-you!

As long as the Company name is on it, it might work. It's up to the broker to put the HC. So if they see the company name, they might change the HC and your PST would be waive and no tariff tax.

Your billing info should remain the same. It ties in with your credit card.

You should be able to change your company name on the FedEx account manager profilez

I still think that the people getting hit with the 6.5% tariff tax should dispute it. CBSA are wrong and they know it.
