That's a good thing IMO, as it would mean that they have to put a lot more effort in to win the customers over.

More competition is almost always a better thing for the customers.

RE1 there is nothing serious about this legendary game! Chris, Jill, Wesker, Barry, Hunk, Zombie, Hunter, Licker, Tyran. I want all of them, just take my money and do it!

The classics are too simple and with bad definition to make a realistic statue, so I don't know, I think they must focus on the Remakes.... but there's many versions of each characters, so the question is, what version?

Jill - RE1, RE3, RERevelations, RE5, RE1Remake, RE3Remake
Chris - RE1, RECodeVeronica, RE5, RE6, RE1Remake
Claire - RE2, RECodeVeronica, ReRevelations, RE2Remake
Leon/Ada - RE2, RE4, RE6, RE2Remake

These are the principal ones, they must focus first on these and after they can move to others:

Heroes: Rebecca - Barry - Sherry - Sheva (etc)
Villains: Wesker - Tyrant - Birkin - Mr X - Nemesis - Alexia/Alfred (etc)
Monsters: Zombies - Hunters - Cerberus (Dogs) - Spiders (etc)

For me I would love to see Alexia from Resident Evil Code Veronica, for me she's (together with Wesker) the best villain of the saga

About the look of the characters, there's the Movies in CG to inspire too:
Degeneration - Claire, Leon
Damnation - Leon and Ada
Vendetta - Leon, Chris and Rebecca

I like the classics, the first ones have the best and most beloved characters, some of the most famous, take Jill, she's is like Chun Li, one of the best females ever created in the gamer universe

But I really don't liked the what they make in the last ones (RE4 beyond), for me there's zero charisma in the new characters (Ashley? Sheva? A son of Wesker? Pupil of Chris? RE7 characters? no, just no...)

My choices:

- Jill from RE3Classic or RE1Remake (I like both visuals, but the face in the RE1Remake is the best)
- Claire from RECodeVeronica
- Leon/Ada from RE4
- Chris from RE1Remake

- Classic Zombie and Cerberus
- Wesker from RE1Remake
- Alexia from RECodeVeronica

Not sure, but this make sense, because is exactly what Prime 1 have, well I would prefer the classics but anything from RE would be great. I don't liked Prime 1 Diorama style, too big, but I would love some solo statues
