You know, as long as I've been playing Street Fighter I've always considered that costume color Grey with Red armor, not white.

But wouldn't you agree that his Hyper Fighting color scheme is indeed Grey/Red vs. White/Red? Where is everyone getting White from?

I wouldnt buy a ripped version off Bison.

However if white would smudge too much (didn't hear any complaints with Ryu though) how about combining red and black?
His belt, zipper (jacket) and hat red, rest black and keep the armor shiny metal!

Should make an interesting combination. Since i don't think black is considered an official color by many.
Red black and silver do compliment each other greatly.

yes and no

This line wasnt really on the radar when Ryu was released.

If someone got a dirty Ryu they returned it and life went on.

Now when someone is unhappy fifteen threads appear on every collectibles forum in the world and it reverberates. Then people who read the threads start to look for problems on their statue and I start to see pics from people who are examining with a magnifying glass just looking for a defect.

So, if 10% of Ryus had some dirt on their gi it wouldnt have been a problem...but if 5% of Bisons have dirty costumes those people will beat the issue until it seems like its 80%.

As for white or gray...I always thought it was a very light gray. I believe thats how I had the action figures painted.

PS there is no chance for a ripped costume version
