Anyways here he is! Chromed Action Surfer!!
This is one I have always wanted, and he is an AP and also has a sketch and signature by Randy Bowen on the base.
People can say grail all day long in this hobby but I would certainly consider this one.

You have some luck!! I saw a dark chrome one, I prefer the regular chrome, but you don't have to make that choice

Bowen collectors Face Book group.
There are usually 27 "lottery tickets". Depending on the statue each one of the lottery tickets costs from around $7 the $15 (give or take). The winning ticket is determined by the California lottery 'power ball'. Who ever has that number gets the statue. Shipping isn't included.
I'm an admin on that group and it's a fair system to gamble and possibly get a great Bowen statue for a few bucks.

Interesting, thanks for the explanation. So people who want to sell their statues offer them up to sell this way? Is that basically how this came to be? It's a pretty good idea if that's the case.

It's just one guy who hosts the auctions. Don't ask me how he finds all these Bowen statues but there seems to be a never ending supply for him.

I guess that makes more sense rather than having to deal with different sellers trying to get rid of stuff and everything be fair and square.
