I remember a time when people expected everything PCS SF following the original '07 Akuma will hit $3k no questions asked.

All it took was a huge amount of Delays, a little bit of over saturation and two huge forums full of complainers to kill the value on these.

The thing was they were "it" statues like Xm are now, no real fans buying them just people wanting them because they are the "elite" thing to have....

I collected every single variant till Blanka/Nash but it was so hard to keep up with all variants and revisits so I decide to sell all of them. Just kept the oldies Akuma, Ryu, Shin Akuma AP and Evil Ryu.
Might also be a reason that the completists gave up.
