Just starting to investigate saber replicas... Is Korbanth generally the way to go (and for Maul specifically)? Any other competitors you'd suggest?

Is your intention to just keep all your sabers hilt-only? No sound/light?

Thanks!

Luke's weathering is absolutely intentional. The kit that I purchased gives you the option to make either the hero or stunt hilt. I like the stunt hilt design better because of the gritty look to it.

My Maul sabre came with that bit of paint flaking off in that section. I chatted with Randy(aka Korbanth) about it and he told me to use a bit of flat black acrylic paint. I bought a small vial of paint from the dollar store and it's as good as new now.

Korbanth hilts are very good quality and quite accurate, you just have to remember they're kits. You need to put them together yourself.

All of mine except for Vader are hollow. Vader is my "guy" so I kitted that one out.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Sideshow. Fantastic print, just wish Sideshow made these in the larger format size.

RS Prop Master Sandtrooper Helmet: Colin Michael Kitchens Signature edition. 33/100.

Absolutely phenomenal piece. I don't think I've seen better weathering on another collectible.
