About as subtle as a train wreck. If you're going to say it, just man up and say it, like some others here might. That said, I probably didn't need that level of graphic display either, but c'mon.... have you seen any of Erik Larsen's "Savage Dragon" books in the last year or more? Pretty R-rated stuff there. But then again, we could go off on a tangent about sex vs violence with regards to kids' exposure level in all media these days.

Read it. Not terribly impressed. Seems to be a set up book but honestly I had some trouble following it. Maybe I need to reread it but it was a bit confusing. The art was amazing. As for the controversy, it's shadowed and not really a big deal one way or the other. I'm not sure it was necessary to tell the story but everyone has an opinion on that.
Issue 2 has amazing cover art as well so I figure I will get it when it arrives to see where it goes.

1. A shadowed image is not a perversion. Give me a break with this BS.
2. This title (and all of these black label titles) is specifically marketed for adults, so if you're letting your young children read a comic for adults, that's your problem.
