Werewolf by Night

I received my Werewolf by Night bust today at my LCS. I usually limit myself to Bowen products, but WbN was one of my favorite series when I was a kid. In fact it was the first series of which I was able to track down a complete set. I must say that this is a fairly good bust. It's a good likeness of the Don Perlin drawn Werewolf from the latter half of the series. The paint applications are clean. All and all I am really pleased.

It really looks nice but I passed on it because of the scale issues. it would just look out of place with the BD pieces.

I agree the DST busts are much larger, thats why they are on a different shelf...both appeal to me....

Scale doesn't really bother me since I mix my busts in with my FS. I always look more at the character who is represented and the dynamics of the sculpt.

I agree the overall quality is increasing, and I notice their edition sizes are dropping which could be a corelation. I think Diamond should use the Art Asylum connection more often, and look to do more obscure characters like Werewolf. I know Diamond has there hand in a lot of things, but they have potential and while I know its a business to make money, its hard to make it if you do not make quality items..

I saw this at the comic shop and had no clue who it was. Heh. I thought it was Wolfsbane for a second, but no. He's too obscure.
